Modern Orange Kitchen
This modern orange kitchen is the epitome of the open concept
This is a project we completed a few years ago. The customer wanted a contemporary kitchen to compliment furniture that would be placed in the living room. The design of the space was open concept with the kitchen and living room attached.
The most striking feature of this kitchen is the bar height glass countertop with the chrome stands. This design helps break up the linear symmetry while the leg of the glass countertop helps create some symmetry between the wine cooler on the right and the leg on the left.
Going from right to left, you can see cabinets go from standard counter depth to about 12 inches on the left. This is done for aesthetic purposes when entering from the patio. It prevents the kitchen from looking like a giant orange wall in front of you – it transitions smoothly into the kitchen.
